Mingle with the arts curious in unique Queens places: learn how to pair wine with chocolate just in time for Valentine’s Day, take in an Irish performance for St. Patrick’s Day, celebrate Earth Day with an eco-friendly shindig, and enjoy a few tacos for Cinco de Mayo.
The first QAX mixer is Wednesday, February 17 at 6:30 p.m at Hunter’s Point Wine and Spirits. With Valentine’s Day in mind, the shop’s owner, Paul Huston, and local chocolate guru, Christie Alexander, will be on hand to guide you through a wine and chocolate tasting. The mixers are designed to be casual get-togethers for the QAX community where one can network as they learn a fun skill.
