SAM OPPENHEIM: takes you around the globe…

Sam Oppenheim has been photographing for 15 years, during which he received a B.A. at Columbia University in Archaeology & Comparative Religion, a M.A. in the Archaeology of Ancient India at UW-Madison, and a M.A. in Education at City College New York.

Through different projects, TINA has been studying the relationships between music, visual art, and the rhythms of organic cycles — universal languages that connect us, transcending geography and time. While certain pieces visually examine musical structures and cultural traditions, others have been transcribed from music, or have had music transcribed from the images.

Nancy is a NYC School Teacher and has been exploring photography in her travels. This is Nancy’s first showing and as a good friend of Novo’s, she was inspired by the local artists displayed there each month and wanted to share some of her treasured images. Another artist emerges …
