American Bolero blooms in Astoria- April 1st

American Bolero Dance Company presents…

“Tablao Flamenco”

Along with May flowers, April will also be bringing another spectacular installment in American Bolero Dance Company’s Spring 2011 season of Tablao Flamenco.  This popular Queens-based series showcases live performances, once-a-month, of Flamenco and other styles of Spanish dance and music by some of the finest talent from New York City and abroad.  Featured artists this month include dancers Gabriela Granados and Sol “La Argentinita”, singers Alfonso Cid and Aurora Reyes, guitarists Basilio Georges and Cristian Puig, and the Ballet Español de Gabriela Granados.

This performance is made possible, in part, with funds from the New York State Council on the Arts Decentralization Program, and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs Greater New York Arts Development Fund, administered by the Queens Council on the Arts.

Location: Auditorium Centro Español, 41-01 Broadway (at 41st Street), 2nd Floor, Astoria , NY 11103.  By subway: R or M to Steinway Street (Take the Broadway exit. Walk north on Steinway St to Broadway, then 1 block east to 41st Street).

Admission: Adults $22; Seniors $18; Children (under 12 years old) $15.  Tapas and beverages a-la-carte.
