Location: Austin’s Ale House, 82-70 Austin Street, Kew Gardens, NY

Dear Queens artists, You are invited to participate in the Global Art Project for Peace, an international art exchange. Here’s how it works: Participants create a work of art in any medium, expressing their vision of global peace and goodwill. The art is displayed locally in each participant’s community (Austin’s Ale House will be sponsoring the Kew Gardens show, with an Opening Reception, for not more than 40 adult artists, April 2-22). When you register as an individual online ($15 donation by February 28, 2014), The Global Art Project will organize an international/national exchange by matching each participant with an individual in another country or state. You will mail your unframed art to your assigned partner from April 23-30 resulting in thousands of people sending messages of peace and goodwill around the world at one time – visions of unity simultaneously encircle the earth. You will in turn receive your partner’s work of art and then Austin’s Ale House will generously sponsor another group show in the Fall to highlight the art received. At the close of the show, you will be able to take your partner’s art home to keep as a symbol of your cultural art exchange. If you are interested in this meaningful project, please register at www.globalartproject.org and then email kewgardensarts@gmail.com to be put on the list of artists who will be participating in the two local shows. Thanks!
