The Queens Symphony Orchestra and renowned conductor Maestro Constantine Kitsopoulos will direct “Viva Verdi & Friends” at the 15th. Annual Summer Concert at St. John’s University, a tradition that the entire St. John’s and Queens communities look forward to each summer. In a special tribute to the legacy of Giuseppe Verdi in commemoration of the bicentennial of his birth, and in celebration of 2013 being the Year of Italian Culture in the United States, the QSO will perform a compilation of Verdi’s greatest compositions that will serve as a superb complement to the beautiful summer weather.

The concert is free, open to the public, and ample free parking is available.
