Rafael Octavio Gonzalez’s work allows us to look at everyday places in extraordinary ways by playing with space and time and bringing 360° views into one plane.  The Long Island City-bred artist illuminates intimate details of our world in panorama through multiple images, vibrant colors, exposures, and composites. The images magnify life in a way that creates intimacy in its rich detail and luminous surrealism. With wide-eyed innocence, somehow, he captures the beautiful innocence of looking at something for the first time.
